Organist leaves for St. Andrew's, Wellington, 1912



Mr H. S. Claughton, L.T.C.L., organist of St. Matthew's, has been appointed organist and choirmaster to St. Andrew's Church Wellington Terrace. There were a large number of applicants, three being requested to play at services, the final selection being as above. Mr Claughton has been in Masterton five years. He will take up his new duties in June, but will still retain his teaching connection in this district.
